Reports and other documents

I have a long history as an IT professional, with some significant projects under my belt. Here are a few select examples from my "portfolio":

  • Canadian Patent Office Automation Master Plan – March 31, 1988
I wrote at least half of this document, prepared most of the diagrams, most of the calculations presented therein.
  • Integrated Spectrum Observation Center Manual – January 2015
The ISOC was my largest software project, ~120,000 lines of code in total, and I also wrote this manual, along with some design documentation and an API reference.

Talks

I have attended several conferences and gave talks at other venues. Here are some select presentations:

  • Metric symmetry by design: A Lagrangian perspective with computer algebra adventures, seminar given at the Cosmology group of Arizona State University, Tempe, Az, April 15, 2026
  • Radio-metric navigation and the Pioneer Anomaly, talk given at the Canadian Center for Experimental Radio Astronomy Summer Camp in Carp, Ontario, August 2, 2024
  • From stellar systems to the CMB: MOG across 15+ orders of magnitude, invited talk given on January 18, 2024, at the Challenges of Modern Cosmology workshop organized by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (see also its video recording)
  • Look before you leap: Using the Solar Gravitational Lens to explore exoplanets, talk given at the 8th Interstellar Symposium, Montreal, QC, July 10, 2023
  • The Solar Gravitational Lens: Imaging Exoplanets, virtual talk via ZOOM, given to the North Houston Astronomy Club, May 28, 2021
  • Retro-gaming podcast interview (December 22, 2020 – in Hungarian) about my participation in the early days of game development in Hungary and about my more recent work
  • Gravitáció a Naprendszerben - talk (in Hungarian) given (see also its video recording) at the 2020 Fazekas-festival on March 4, 2020 in Budapest
  • The theory of the Solar Gravitational Lens, outline of a brief, informal talk (no slides) given at the Perimeter Institute on October 18, 2018
  • TianQin - Spacecraft Navigation and Mission Simulation, talk given at the 3rd TianQin workshop in Guangzhou, China, on December 9, 2015
  • Cosmological consequences of Modified Gravity (MOG), talk given at the International Conference on Two Cosmological Models, Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México, November 17-19, 2010
  • My Pioneer anomaly presentations, including
    • My Pioneer anomaly talk given at The Perimeter Institute on April 4, 2013
    • My Pioneer anomaly colloquium, given at Carleton University, Ottawa, on September 18, 2012.
    • My Pioneer seminar presentation at the Perimeter Institute on May 27, 2011, also with video.
    • Background notes on the thermal recoil force, presented on my behalf by Slava Turyshev at the third Pioneer Explorer Collaboration Team Meeting at ISSI, Bern, Switzerland, February 18-22, 2008.
    • My independent analysis of Pioneer Doppler data, my analysis of Pioneer 10 and 11 telemetry, and my thermal analysis of the Pioneer 10 and 11 spacecraft, presented at the second Pioneer Explorer Collaboration Team Meeting at ISSI, Bern, Switzerland, February 19-23, 2007.
    • My Pioneer anomaly lecture, given at Carleton University, Ottawa, on October 16, 2006.
